Dauphine St.

Oh. Hello there! So I was just perusing the Preservation Directory website again, (in order to avoid looking at/ applying for jobs) and was routed over to the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans- where I found this little gem of a house for $199. The ad says it has a river view from the front porch, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and orginal refinished white fir bargeboard from when it was built in 1870! on Dauphine st- lovingly refurbished by the PRC of NOLA.

* Female Dauphine, a vincentian woman.
* Pommes Dauphine, a recipe for fried potato.
* Renault Dauphine, a model of automobile.
* Université Paris-Dauphine, a university near Porte Dauphine in Paris.
* Dauphiné, a province in southeastern France.
* Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré, a cycle race sometimes nicknamed the "Dauphine".

Kids these days

My 2 little cousins are over tonight. They painted fingernails with my 13 year old cousin/housemate and now they're watching This Is It. I was supposed to log into my online Wachovia account but for some reason that failed, and now I need to find the right cord for my own laptop from Acer so I can order it because little miss thang has been looking up porn on this laptop and I busted her (is that wrong?) and now the internets going to be deleted. Although I enjoy using this classy compaq quite a bit, it seems our days are (also) numbered.

uncertainty in all aspects abounds

except for my shadow shadow shadow. .

Swamp Lawn

Look at this georgeous antebellum home built in 1857 I just found listed at the Preservation North Carolina website !! And it could be yours (mine) @ a meager price of 89,900 -which includes 5.7 acres of red dirt in the Roanoake River valley. Check out the heartbreakingly beautiful slideshow here
You can also check out a pdf of the floorplan and more info here
