Holiday decorating

I went to the better homes and gardens website to get some holiday inspiration for a house I'm working on. Most of them are centered around flowers, because the other stuff was just way too cheezy. I wanted a way to tie in a theme of the season, without being hokie. I think just a few small arrangements will make the right statement.

SAVE TIGERS NOW

So Leo (Di Caprio) is heading up team tiger- with WWF and people all over the world with money and wifi who can donate on the website. I saw an ad in Harpers Bazaar (a materialistic high society mag) that there are only 3,200 tigers left in the wild. So to anyone concerned with buying 7,000$ name brand outfits I suggest you go to Ross and invest in some tiger territory instead. pitiful. .

Big Bad Book Love

It's so hard to devote time to reading when you can tivo anything and sit in the "living room". but you're not really living if you're watching tv are you?! I'd like to thank the Greenville Public Library for supporting my obsessive interior design habit- by allowing me to check out magazines! and supporting my jazz music crush by having lots of cds i can listen to while driving around in my gross fuel burning suv. oh, that reminds me. .

Frustrated

Life is not an easy matter... You cannot live through it without falling into frustration and cynicism unless you have before you a great idea which raises you above personal misery, above weakness, above all kinds of perfidy and baseness- Leon Trotsky

Frustration, although quite painful at times, is a very positive and essential part of success- Bo Bennett

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward- Kurt Vonnegut
